About CU Logics

CU Logics was founded to help credit unions navigate technology change with clarity and discipline.

Artificial intelligence, automation, and cloud-based collaboration tools are reshaping how work gets done. But in financial institutions, adoption must be thoughtful, governed, and aligned with member value. CU Logics exists to bridge that gap—translating new capabilities into practical, manageable systems.

About Ricky Spears

Ricky Spears is the Founder and Principal Consultant at CU Logics.

He works with credit union leaders and technology teams to strengthen Microsoft 365 environments, design usable SharePoint architectures, and adopt AI responsibly. His focus is operational clarity: systems that are governable, sustainable, and actually used by staff.

With years of hands-on experience inside credit union environments, Ricky understands the realities of compliance, vendor oversight, board communication, and resource constraints. His approach emphasizes incremental improvement, risk awareness, and long-term structural thinking over trend-driven experimentation.

He writes and speaks regularly about AI strategy, governance, and internal systems design for credit unions.

Philosophy

Technology should reduce friction, not create it.

New tools should clarify decision-making, not complicate governance.

And AI should be introduced deliberately—with guardrails, transparency, and measurable operational benefit.

CU Logics partners with credit unions that want to modernize without losing control.
